Canada Dental Benefit Launches December 1

The temporary Canada Dental Benefit is now available! This benefit will support families with children under 12 who have a net income of less than $90,000, and who do not have access to private dental insurance. It allows families to receive up-front, direct payments totalling up to $1,300 per child (up to $650 per year, for two years), to empower them to get their kids the dental care services they need. This benefit will be in place until 2024, while a long-term, national dental care program is developed.

Parents can now apply for the Canada Dental Benefit at Canada.ca/dental.
