Research Funding to Help Improve Dairy Sustainability, Herd Health
July 7, 2023
In late 2022, Dairy at Guelph underwent a review of its mission and vision that sets strategic direction for the centre, with the goal of increasing awareness of the tremendous amount of dairy research done at the University of Guelph.
Over the next five years, Drs. Stephen LeBlanc, David Kelton and David Renaud, all in the Department of Population Medicine, Ontario Veterinary College, will lead a series of 15 studies that tackle challenges facing Canada’s dairy producers. The researchers received $2.6 million from the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council (NSERC) Alliance program, which supports research collaborations with partner organizations on projects that have real-world impact for Canadians.
Congratulations to Drs. David Kelton and Doug Goff on their retirement. Thank you for all your incredible contributions, accomplishments and dedication to learning, teaching and research in Canada's dairy industry.
